Tried Typical Tamilnadu style banana leaf full non veg meals. Noon was a little crowded. The taste was good with different rice options.
Yummy food + great vibes = perfect Breakfast spot. Will be back for more..
Great family restaurant with friendly faces. Authentic Southern Indian food. Reasonable pricing. Breakfast fare till 11.45 am. 12 pm onwards the lunch offerings. Good servings of banana leaf rice both vegetarian & non- vegetarian. Upgraded with air-cond for catering upstairs too.
Was here during lunch time. There was a queue but the food was worth waiting for. They served authentic South Indian dishes. Had banana leaf rice with mutton curry, varuval chicken and fried chicken. Was very satisfied with the dishes, meat was tender, spicy with the right amount of seasoning. Loved the rasam too. Wasn't diluted. Couldn't resist eating the pakoras even though was quite full. No regrets, will return to try the other dishes. Avoid peak hours if you don't want to wait.
Really good vegan-friendly banana leaf! Perfect if you need to grab a quick (or slow ) bite before visiting the temples. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful. The vegetarian mutton & deep-fried bittergourd are delicious!
Had Banana leaf (RM8), comes with 4 vege. Had mutton perattal, chicken varuval, chicken pepper, tenggiri fillet sambal, crab rasam. 7 different types of curries. The Vendayam and Keerai curry was awesome. Overall food was above average. Finished lunch with a Madras coffee. It was good. Their Service was excellent.
Great value banana life place! Went here after hiking the Batu Caves. Nearby Batu Caves but the intersections to arrive here was a bit confusing. Food was great, service was excellent. Ordered a variety of breakfast foods and kuih, plus banana leaf x2 and a few side dishes - chicken, mutton, vegetables, drinks, etc for 4 pax. The total came up to around RM 80+ which was an amazing price. The place was covered by the Malay Mail earlier this year and I think they deserve all the plaudits. We went on a weekend just before lunchtime so we saw a queue forming up buying food for takeaway, and the place quickly filling up at lunchtime. Free but limited street parking available. Would definitely go here again. Would recommend for anybody wanting to try banana leaf at a great price.
